Elektrobit Launches Dedicated Software for Synopsys ARC FS IP

Continental subsidiary Elektrobit becomes the first automotive software company to partner with Synopsys.
On the 7th, Electrobit announced the release of 'EB tresos Classic AUTOSAR software' exclusively for Synopsys' 'DesignWare ARC EM/HS FS (Functional Safety) processor'.
“Embedded software used in advanced automotive applications must adhere to the highest safety standards and be developed with ISO 26262 certification in mind,” said John Koeter, senior vice president of IP marketing and strategy at Synopsys.
EB Tresos AUTOSAR Software provides a hardware-software platform that enables automotive semiconductor companies, automobile and automotive component manufacturers to rapidly develop electronic software applications based on AUTOSAR standards.
Developed based on Synopsys' ISO 9001 certified quality management system, the ARC FS processor supports ASIL-B/D safety levels, simplifying automotive SoC development and accelerating ISO 26262 certification. The product family includes the ARC EM22FS, HS4x, EV7xFS, and VPX5FS processors.

TI Unveils Multi-Axis Coreless Current Sensor TMCS2100-Q1 for HEV/EV Traction Inverters
Texas Instruments has unveiled the TMCS2100-Q1, a multi-axis coreless Hall-effect current sensor for HEV and EV traction inverters. By simultaneously measuring horizontal and vertical magnetic fields through multi-axis sensing technology, it achieves up to 20 times higher accuracy compared to conventional single-axis sensors, while the busbar-unmodified design provides mechanical design flexibility. It simultaneously meets the high-accuracy requirements and miniaturization driven by the expansion of 800V architectures.
