Hardware engineers must ensure precise design and thorough verification, no matter how tight the product development schedule. This is why simulation tools are essential.
Texas Instruments (TI) announced on the 16th that it is collaborating with Cadence, a developer of system semiconductor design tools, to provide the 'PSpice® for TI' simulator free of charge.
Pismice for TI features a library of over 5,700 TI analog IC models. Engineers can leverage this library to comprehensively simulate circuits, shortening design verification times.
It also supports features such as automated measurement and post-processing, Monte Carlo analysis, and situational analysis, enabling verification across a wide range of operating conditions and device tolerances. Furthermore, designs created in PiSpice for TI can be transferred to Cadence's other PCB design tools for continued work.
