The first Tiger Lake-based new model in the XPS series

On the 6th, Dell Technologies Korea launched two new models of the 'XPS Series' premium notebooks with innovative performance equipped with the 11th generation Intel Core processor (Tiger Lake) and Iris Xe graphics. The newly revealed 'XPS 13 9310' and 'XPS 13 9310 2-in-1' models are the first new products based on Tiger Lake and are 13.4-inch premium notebooks that perfectly harmonize more powerful performance and a sensual and luxurious design.

The 'XPS 13 9310' and 'XPS 13 9310 2-in-1' are equipped with an edge-to-edge screen with Infinity Edge technology applied to all four sides in a 16:10 aspect ratio and a touch display with up to 4K UHD+ (3840*2400 resolution). It provides a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a 178-degree wide view, providing excellent visual immersion. In particular, the 'XPS 13 9310 2-in-1' has a 360-degree rotating hinge, allowing it to be used as both a laptop and a tablet for various situations and purposes.

Additionally, the UHD+ display can realize 100% Adobe RGB and 90% DCI-P3 color reproducibility, and with VESA certified HDR 400 and Dolby Vision certification, it can express HDR contents more vividly than standard SDR displays. The display has a 0.65% anti-reflective coating, so you can work comfortably without screen reflection even outdoors or under bright indoor lighting, and the Eyesafe technology that dramatically reduces blue light emission reduces eye fatigue even when used for a long time.

The 'XPS 13 9310' and 'XPS 13 9310 2-in-1' are equipped with the 11th generation Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, which has significantly improved processing speed and performance compared to the previous generation. Both products are equipped with memory of up to 32GB LPDDR4x (4267 MHz), storage of up to 2TB PCIe 3x4 SSD and up to 1TB PCIe 3x4 SSD respectively, and batteries of 52WHr and 51WHr respectively.

In particular, it is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports capable of ultra-high-speed data transfer of up to 40 Gbps, which can take user productivity to the next level. Additionally, it is equipped with Intel Killer AX1650 wireless LAN that supports the next-generation wireless communication standard, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), allowing you to experience internet access that is three times faster than previous-generation products.

The 'XPS 13 9310' and 'XPS 13 9310 2-in-1' are lightweight, starting at approximately 1.2 kg and 1.32 kg respectively, and are made of CNC-manufactured aluminum with a thickness of 14.8 mm and 14.35 mm respectively, providing excellent durability and a luxurious appearance. They also feature a palm rest made of black carbon fiber and white woven glass fiber, and Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6.

Additionally, both products feature Windows Hello technology along with an infrared camera and a fingerprint reader built into the power button, allowing you to log in securely in any space, including at home, the office, and public places.

This new 'XPS 13' product is equipped with separate dual fans to disperse heat over a wide area, and each is equipped with an ultra-thin vapor chamber, dual carbon 'liquid crystal polymer (LCP)' material fans, high-heat heat transfer (GORE) thermal insulation technology, and heat pipes, etc., to prevent heat generation more effectively.

Additionally, the 2020 'XPS Series' products have introduced a number of environmentally friendly technologies. The packaging that the product is delivered to the consumer is made of ocean plastic waste (25%) collected from the coast and other recycled plastics (75%). Dell was recognized for this innovative activity and won the 'Best of Innovation Award' at CES 2018. It is an eco-friendly, low-power product that has received Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and 90% of its parts can be recycled or reused. It is also free of ingredients such as cadmium, lead, mercury, and phthalates, so you can use it with confidence.

The 'XPS 9310' and 'XPS 9310 2-in-1' are currently available for purchase on the domestic Dell website (https://www.dell.com/ko-kr), and the UHD+ model of the 'XPS 9310' is scheduled to be released in November.
