KT and Health Hub Launch AI-Based "Digital Healthcare" Business

KT announced on the 16th that it will introduce a cloud and artificial intelligence-based digital healthcare service in collaboration with Health Hub at the KT Gwanghwamun EAST building in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The two companies will pursue a digital healthcare business that combines KT's ICT platform capabilities, such as cloud, artificial intelligence, and 5G, with Health Hub's remote diagnosis and medical AI solution capabilities.
Specifically, we plan to provide a medical imaging platform safely and quickly through KT Cloud, jointly develop medical imaging services that combine AI, and promote joint business development both domestically and internationally.
KT AI/DX Convergence Business Division Managing Director Lee Yong-gyu said, “We will contribute to improving the health of the nation by introducing customized digital healthcare services that link medical information, life logs, and genetic information.”
Health Hub CEO Lee Byeong-il said, “Through this collaboration with KT, we expect to operate remote diagnosis services more stably through the KT cloud platform.”uo; said.
Meanwhile, according to market analysis firm Allied Market Research, the global medical AI software market is expected to grow significantly to $8.6 billion by 2025.

Mezhu, a digital healthcare solution manufacturer, has adopted Nordic's nRF52832 Bluetooth 5.2/LE multiprotocol SoC for wireless connectivity in its 'Hycardia Wearable ECG Monitoring System'.
