KT announced on the 30th that it will launch the 'DX Platform', which provides various platforms such as AI, IoT, big data, and DevOps through the cloud.

'AI Studio' is an AI-only platform that allows businesses to freely develop and operate various AI services they need on a single platform. Customers can use the functions of the AI speaker 'Giga Genie' and the AI Contact Center (AICC) functions through an application programming interface (API).

By minimizing the steps essential to AI development, such as setting up a development environment, we can quickly develop high-quality AI services, and provide a one-stop development process from AI development to learning, distribution, and application on a single platform.

KT said, “Customers who introduce AI Studio can shorten the development cycle by up to 50% and reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) by up to 70%,” and explained, “It is suitable for commerce that requires customer tendency analysis, finance that wants to introduce credit rating services that consider financial regulations, call centers that need automatic classification of VOC or similar inquiries, and IT control industries.”

A "Data Lake" is a platform capable of storing and analyzing massive amounts of data. Linked to the big data analysis engine of KT NexR, KT Group's big data platform specialist, it visualizes the process of collecting, analyzing, and storing large amounts of data, enabling simultaneous web processing.

Building a big data platform requires significant initial investment, with development alone costing tens of billions of won. However, with a data lake, companies can apply for and start using the platform immediately, without any initial costs. Linking with KT's wired and wireless infrastructure, including 5G, also enables ultra-high-speed data transmission and processing.

'IoT Makers' is an IoT platform that can collect and manage data from various devices, and supports various communication methods and device connections, such as NB-IoT. KT explained, “By combining IoT makers with 5G edge cloud, AI, and big data, we can achieve productivity improvements and real-time diagnosis in smart factories and the medical field.”

The Container & DevOps Suite is a platform that supports a MicroService Architecture (MSA) development environment. MSA is a method of developing complete applications by combining small services. KT has experience reducing development time and operational costs by developing services such as its in-house sales system KOS and Super VR based on this development platform.

KT stated, “By introducing the Container & DevOps Suite, you can reduce development manpower and time through automatic deployment and initial setup of the development environment.”

In addition, KT plans to add services provided on the DX platform through partnerships with industry-specific companies. We plan to provide financial open APIs for fintech companies and introduce a manufacturing execution system (MES) and data collection and preprocessing functions to support small and medium-sized smart factories.
