Chinese media recently reported that TSMC received an order from Bitmain to produce 5nm mining chips and will start production as early as the third quarter.

Meanwhile, Bitmain recently announced a new mining ASIC (Application-specific integrated circuit) called Antminer E9.

This equipment is known to combine 32 GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards to deliver performance equivalent to operating in a single cluster, with a computing power of 3 GH/s, an energy consumption ratio of 0.85 J/M, and a power of 2,556 W.
