Infineon to Hold Power Seminar on June 16th

A place has been created where you can see at a glance Infineon's latest technologies and products for innovative power application design.
Infineon, a world leader in power semiconductors, will host the 'Infineon Power Seminar 2021' online from 10:00 AM on June 16th.
This event was organized to showcase Infineon's technologies and solutions to customers, as well as to help power semiconductors respond to diverse application areas and future-oriented complex technology trends.
The event will feature common sessions on: △New changes driving growth in the power semiconductor market; △Introduction of CoolSiC™ and CoolGaN™ power semiconductors for ultimate power efficiency and reliability; △Innovative packaging proposals for medium- to high-voltage MOSFETs for high power density; and △Introduction of hybrid flyback controllers for output-variable (USB PD) chargers and adapters.
Selection taxIn Track 1, the presentation will cover solutions for designing multi-port USB-C power adapters, EZ-PD™ BCR solution that can switch from AC-DC power adapter power supply to USB-C power supply, and in Track 2, CoolMOS™ series for static switching applications, and high power density motor drive solution for battery-powered applications.

Infineon Launches 600V MOSFETs Optimized for Static Switching
Infineon's CoolMOS S7 10mΩ is a 600V superjunction MOSFET suitable for applications requiring minimized conduction losses, such as solid-state relays, due to its low on-resistance. CoolMOS S7A meets the requirements for solid-state circuit breakers and diode paralleling in high-power, high-performance designs for automotive applications such as high-voltage e-fuses and e-disconnect battery disconnect switches, as well as onboard chargers, and fulfills replacement requirements.
