Samsung SDS's Cello Square 4.0 to Launch in August

Introducing Amazon Warehouse-Destined Ocean Freight Services


On the 13th, Samsung SDS unveiled various examples of IT platform-based logistics services supporting the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized export companies at the " Cello Conference 2021. " The company also announced that it will begin offering specialized services based on global transportation and new digital technologies, optimized for the "Cello Square 4.0" platform, starting in August.

Cello Square 4.0 recommends optimal transportation routes based on information such as the type and weight of the cargo the shipper wishes to ship, the origin and destination, and the transportation schedule. Shippers can monitor the real-time location of their cargo in transit and any abnormalities at a glance through Cello Square. Upon completion of the shipment, Cello Square automatically settles billing details with multiple logistics providers and provides reports based on logistics data analysis, suggesting ways to reduce logistics costs.

Samsung SDS also introduced specialized services that utilize new digital technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain. Shippers can receive real-time transportation control services from Cello Square, monitoring the delivery status of temperature-, humidity-, and shock-sensitive products or high-value items. Cello Square also uses AI to analyze cargo size and quantity to recommend optimal delivery space.

Samsung SDS also introduced an "Air Reforwarding Service," allowing shippers to utilize Samsung SDS's logistics centers in major transit locations, such as Dubai, Miami, and Hong Kong, to reduce freight costs when shipping long distances. This service allows shippers to monitor transshipment status in real time via mobile.

Additionally, the company introduced the 'Amazon Warehouse-bound Ocean Freight Service,' which provides ocean freight services to Amazon logistics centers in the U.S. and Japan, enabling domestic small and medium-sized export companies to sell their products on Amazon, and provides consulting services for complex customs clearance procedures.
