TSMC Approves Investment of Approx. 10.3 Trillion Won

TSMC has approved a new investment of approximately 10.2766 trillion won.
TSMC held a board meeting on the 9th and resolved an investment budget of 255.5721 billion Taiwan dollars (approximately 10.2766 trillion won).
TSMC plans to use this budget for new capacity expansion and facility upgrades, fab construction and system installation, and R&D investment in the third quarter of 2021.
Meanwhile, TSMC recorded revenue of 112.36 billion Taiwan dollars in May 2021, up 19.8% from the same month of the previous year. Revenue for January through May totaled 586.085 billion Taiwan dollars, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year.
