Analog Devices ADMV8818 Tunable Filter Supply


Mouser Electronics announced on the 21st that it is supplying Analog Devices (ADI)'s ' ADMV8818 ' digital tunable filter. The ADMV8818 is a complete monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) with digitally selectable operating frequencies, providing a space-efficient option instead of large switch filter banks and cavity tuning filters.

Ideal for industrial instrumentation and measurement, aerospace, defense, and medical applications, this product provides a dynamically adjustable solution for advanced communication applications.

The ADMV8818 filter provides four independently controlled high-pass filters and four low-pass filters across the frequency range of 2 to 18 GHz. It provides a bandwidth of up to 4 GHz with independent control of the 3 dB cutoff frequency (f3 dB) of the high-pass and low-pass filters.

The ADMV8818-EVALZ evaluation board integrates the ADMV8818 filter, negative voltage generator, LDO regulator, and the interface of the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z (SDP-S) system demo platform (SDP), enabling simple and efficient evaluation.

By using a negative voltage generator or an LDO regulator, power can be supplied via SDP-S using the 5V USB supply voltage from the PC or two external power supplies. Additionally, users can interface with the ADMV8818 SPI using ADI ACE software.
