Intel Launches Single-Socket Solution
for Workstation Professionals, Xeon W-3300 Processor


Intel announced on the 30th the launch of the Intel® Xeon® W-3300 processor family, a high-performance single-socket solution with enterprise-level security features. The new product is designed for applications that handle input/output intensive workloads and is suited for the AI, architecture engineering and construction (AEC), and media and entertainment (M&E) sectors.

The five processor models—Xeon W-3375, W-3365, W-3345, W-3335, and W-3323—are equipped with Intel Hyper-Threading technology and support up to 38 cores, 76 threads, 4.0GHz clock speed, 64 PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes, and 4TB DDR4-3200 ECC memory.

Intel stated that "the W-3300 processor offers 2.5 times greater maximum memory capacity and 31% improved memory bandwidth compared to the previous generation, supporting approximately 45%, 26%, and 20% performance improvements respectively in Cinema 4D, AutoDesk Maya, and Adobe Premiere Pro," based on their own test results.

The new product family supports △Intel® Turbo Boost 2.0, △Intel® Deep Learning Boost, △Intel® AVX-512 instruction support, and △Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) technology.
