A new controller has been released that can alleviate concerns about automotive security threats through its long lifespan and low failure rate.

Infineon Technologies (Korea CEO Seung-soo Lee) announced on the 10th that it is launching the SLI37 automotive security controller.

SLI37 is an easy-to-design and reliable trust anchor that protects security-critical automotive applications such as 5G-enabled eUICC (eCall), V2X communication, vehicle access, and SOTA updates.

The SLI37 offers an extended temperature range and a 17-year lifespan through its unique, robust chip design, and features a very low failure rate due to its exceptional quality. The biggest advantage is that automotive manufacturers can use this product for a variety of applications with a single verification and design process.

More than 100 million eSIMs have been shipped, and Infineon's SLI series is proving its reliability in the field.
