Lam Research Corporation, a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer that supplies wafer manufacturing equipment and services, will discuss next-generation semiconductor technology at 'Semicon Korea 2022'.

Lam Research announced on the 4th that it is sponsoring keynote speeches, the SEMI Technology Symposium (STS), Workforce Development, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs at Semicon Korea 2022 as a Platinum Sponsor.

In the 'Advanced Lithography' session, Dr. Qingpeng Wang of Coventor, a subsidiary of Lam Research, will give a presentation on the topic of 'A Study on the Effect of Edge Surface Roughness on Metal Wire Resistance Using Virtual Processing.' Technologist Qingpeng Wang is responsible for providing semiconductor virtual process technical support to clients located throughout mainland China.

In the 'Materials and Process Technology' session, Dr. Benjamin Vincent from the Global Semiconductor Process and Integration (SP&I) team at Coventer, another Lam Research subsidiary, explains 'Logic Design Analysis Using Semiconductor Process Modeling'. Dr. Benjamin Vincent is a semiconductor process technology expert with over 15 years of experience in the field of semiconductor process engineering. He worked as a process/design integration engineer and manager at Intel, as well as conducting research in the field of epitaxy in the field of advanced logic at imec, the world's largest semiconductor research institute.

In the same session, Technical Director CheePing Lee will give a presentation on the topic of "New and Innovative Solutions for Hetero-Integration." He focuses on the advanced packaging segment and currently leads a field process team for technical engagement and support with key customers.

In the 'Plasma and Etching Technology' session, Dr. Meihua Shen will give a presentation on the topic of 'Next-Generation NAND Flash'. Dr. Meihua Shen is responsible for application development at the Integrated Technologies Systems Group.

Director Shin Mun-jeong, the first female process engineer to join Lam Research Korea, will give a lecture at the "Women-in-Technology" program. Director Shin is scheduled to discuss the potential and career development of female talent to strengthen diversity within the high-tech industry. "Women-in-Technology" is a lecture program designed to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the industrial sector.

In the program "Meet the Experts!", Lee Jae-ho, a process engineer at Lam Research Korea, shares his field experience in the semiconductor industry and information related to the job of a process engineer. "Meet the Experts" is a semiconductor talent development program that provides university students considering a career in the semiconductor industry with the opportunity to meet current industry professionals.
