Intel launches its first line of dedicated graphics products for laptops, significantly boosting gaming and content creation performance.

Intel held a press conference on the 31st and announced the launch of its Intel Arc graphics product family for laptops.

The product family unveiled today is the first external graphics processing unit (GPU) in the Intel Arc A-Series graphics portfolio, and Intel plans to expand the Intel Arc A-Series across laptops, desktops, and workstations within the year.

Intel Arc A-series graphics support a wide range of laptop designs, and the majority of the initial production run of Arc 3 graphics products is expected to be installed in Intel Evo-certified laptops. This includes two products: the A350M for ultra-thin laptops and the A370M, which supports higher performance in thin and light laptops.

Intel Arc 3 graphics provide enhanced 1,080p gaming and an even more enhanced content creation experience. Arc A370M-based laptops can run various popular game titles at over 60 frames per second at 1,080p resolution.

Arc 5 and Arc 7 graphics deliver the same cutting-edge content creation performance along with enhanced graphics and computing capabilities. These products feature more Xe cores, ray tracing units, and GDDR6 memory compared to Arc 3.

Laptops equipped with Arc 3 are currently available for pre-order, while those featuring Arc 5 and Arc 7 are scheduled for release in early summer of this year. Additionally, the Intel Arc graphics family and add-in cards for desktops will be released this summer.

All Arc A-Series products are built on Intel's new Xe High Performance Graphics (HPG) microarchitecture, designed for gamers and creators. Based on Xe HPG technology, the Intel Arc platform delivers groundbreaking performance, efficiency, and scalability.

In addition, all Intel Arc GPU products from Intel Arc 3 to Arc 7 fully support advanced gaming technologies such as DirectX 12 Ultimate, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), and Direct Storage.

Intel is committed to providing game support drivers immediately upon launch and is collaborating with game studios worldwide to ensure that upcoming games are optimized for technologies such as Arc GPUs and XeSS.

The Intel Arc mobile platform supports Intel Deep Link technology. Based on this, the Intel Arc GPU works seamlessly with Intel CPUs and Intel integrated graphics to enhance performance in gaming, content creation, and streaming.
