SK Hynix is launching an online dividend inquiry service starting this year to replace the existing postal notification method, aiming to create paperless, eco-friendly Social Value (SV).

This service is accessible through the company website and will be available starting from the 2021 year-end dividend period. The period is from March 31 to April 20.

SK Hynix has been notifying shareholders of dividend matters by mail every year. Due to the recent rapid growth of the semiconductor industry and the company, the number of shareholders increased approximately 4.8 times from the end of 2019 to the end of 2021, and a sharp increase in paper usage was expected in proportion to this.

SK Hynix announced that it has introduced an online dividend inquiry service to replace the existing postal method in order to improve these issues, join the Paperless trend, and create social value through ESG-centered management.

Through this, it is expected that approximately 1,040 trees and 100 million liters of water used in annual paper production will be saved during future quarterly dividends, and carbon emissions will be reduced by approximately 30,000 kg.
