SK Telecom and the National Health Insurance Service are taking the lead in building a social safety net using AI through 'NUGU bizcall,' an AI voice guidance platform that can monitor patients managing chronic diseases.

SK Telecom announced that it signed a business agreement with the National Health Insurance Service at the Wonju headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service on the 31st to introduce 'AI Who Biz Call'.

This business agreement was signed to utilize SKT's 'Who Biz Call' in the National Health Insurance Service's 'Primary Care Chronic Disease Management Pilot Project'.

The 'Primary Care Chronic Disease Management Pilot Project' is currently a project with approximately 460,000 participants in 109 regions. Among these, 10,000 patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes will be provided with monitoring using 'Who Biz Call' on a pilot basis from July of this year until the end of the year.

'AI Who Bizcall' is a platform that allows affiliates to create their own call scenarios to collect responses or convey information that requires guidance.

In this pilot project, the scenario will be designed to periodically collect key self-measurement data, such as health information, from patients with hypertension, diabetes, and multiple chronic diseases by phone.

SKT said that through 'AI Who Biz Call', patients can record measurement values simply by receiving phone calls and answering questions, unlike before when patients had to record values directly in an app.
