Samsung Electronics Launches High-Refresh Rate 240Hz 4K Gaming Monitor

Samsung Electronics will launch the 'Odyssey Neo G8', the world's first curved gaming monitor that supports 4K resolution and a 240Hz high refresh rate, in the domestic market on the 27th.
The Odyssey Neo G8 (model name: G85NB) has a 32-inch size, 4K resolution, and a 1000R curvature curved design, and uses the same 'Quantum Mini LED' as the Odyssey Neo G9.
In particular, the Odyssey Neo G8 is evaluated as the world's fastest 4K resolution gaming monitor with a fast response speed of 1ms (0.001 seconds) based on GTG and a high refresh rate of 240Hz, and won the 'Best Innovation Award' in the gaming category at CES 2022, the world's largest consumer electronics show.
This product uses 'Quantum Mini LED' as a light source, which is 1/40th as slim as existing LEDs, and is equipped with Samsung's proprietary picture quality control technology 'Quantum Matrix' and 'Quantum HDR 2000', which supports a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.
The Odyssey Neo G8 supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, giving you the PC experience when playing high-spec games.It reduces the tearing phenomenon that occurs when the screen is interrupted due to communication problems between monitors.
It is equipped with a number of convenient gaming-related features, such as △2 HDMI 2.1 slots △DisplayPort 1.4 △CoreSync, which automatically recognizes the color of the screen and matches the color with the lighting on the back of the product △Auto Source Switch+, which automatically recognizes when an IT device such as a game console is connected to the monitor or turned on and automatically switches to the screen of that device.
In particular, it provides an immersive gaming experience without being affected by ambient light by applying a matte display that has been certified as 'Glare Free' by UL, a global safety certification company, to prevent panel light reflection.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics has strengthened its Odyssey Neo lineup of top-of-the-line gaming monitors by launching the Odyssey Neo G7 model along with the Odyssey Neo G8.
The Odyssey Neo G7 (model name: G75NB) is a 32-inch model that supports the highest gaming specifications, including 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution, Quantum Mini LED and Quantum Matrix, Quantum HDR 2000, a curved display with a curvature of 1000R, a 1ms response speed based on GTG, a high refresh rate of 165Hz, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
