With the advancement of next-generation 5G and 6G communications anticipated, market demand for electromagnetic wave solutions is growing. Amid the rapid increase in communication technology-based services and products such as connected cars, the Internet of Things (IoT), and smart factories and cities, technologically advanced startups less than 10 years old equipped with 5G infrastructure and wireless device solutions are entering the competition by leveraging their technological prowess.

SensorView, a domestic company encountered at the industry exhibition of the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science Summer Conference, introduced RF cables and antennas as its core solutions, highlighting its expertise in 5G, autonomous driving, and RF. We spoke with Yoon Seong-hwan, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at SensorView.

■ Please introduce SensorView.

SensorView is a domestic company founded in 2015 that currently operates RF cable and antenna businesses. It has five major business areas, divided into 5G infrastructure solutions, 5G wireless devices, automotive, RF test measurement, and air space defense.

■ What kind of solution is SensorView's RF cable?

SensorView RF cables are RF cables that can be used by all electrical, electronic, and radio wave-related RF engineers, and they offer solutions up to 67GHz. As a domestic company, it offers fast delivery times and excellent price competitiveness.

The most important aspect is the ability to customize. We possess in-house manufacturing solutions tailored to the product lines desired by the customer.

■ Please explain M Group's products.

M Group products have been certified by Qualcomm, a major customer, and are registered as official suppliers. These products are currently applied in laptops, CPUs, and mobile devices, making them essential for millimeter wave (Mmwave) products.

■ Could you also introduce your antenna product line?

RF antennas, one of SensorVIEW's major product lines, offer general test measurement antenna solutions up to 67GHz. Furthermore, it also possesses a transparent antenna capable of applying in-building solutions. This product is gaining popularity as a transparent device that can be fully applied not only to in-building environments but also to other application fields.

■ Please tell us a few words about your future vision.

SensorView's vision is "We make your RF perform best." Our vision is to make the RF performance of our customers and RF engineers the best it can be.
