Dell Technologies shared its future sustainability vision, strategy, and customer innovation case studies, calling for the joint resolution of humanity's common problems through bold innovation.

Dell Technologies successfully held the 'Dell Technologies Forum 2022' on the 24th, attended by over 3,000 IT industry leaders and stakeholders.

This year's forum attracted a lot of interest from both online and offline participants, featuring 38 on-site breakout sessions covering the latest technology trends, exhibition booths, and 25 online non-face-to-face sessions.

In his welcoming remarks, Kim Kyung-jin, General Manager of Dell Technologies Korea, announced the opening of the event and shared insights and visions on the theme of "Breakthroughs for Digital Innovation," regarding how successful companies over the past two years structured their workforces through innovation programs and what challenges they faced in digital innovation.

General Manager Kim [referred to] the 'twin-engine' at the point where people and technology interactIt was emphasized that securing [this] brings us closer to successful innovation, and that barriers hindering digital innovation must be removed.

Citing the results of a recent survey conducted by Dell involving 10,500 respondents worldwide, including Korea, the company explained that communication-centered innovation, productivity-centered innovation, and empathy-centered innovation are important for effectively responding to digital change.


Following this, Angus Hegarty, President of International Markets at Dell Technologies, stated in his keynote speech that one must focus on four areas regarding what is needed to drive innovation.

President Haggerty identified four areas to focus on: multi-cloud and IT as a service, the future of the work environment, edge, and security. He forecasted the major challenges that companies and organizations will face in each area and introduced the solutions and services provided by Dell to address them.


Following the welcoming remarks and keynote speech, Senior Vice President and CTO Kim Ji-yoon of Hyundai AutoEver presented success stories on cloud-based manufacturing innovation platforms and future mobility software.


Intel President Kwon Myung-sook delivered a congratulatory speech, and Samsung Electronics DS Sustainability Office Executive Director Seo Hyun-jung and Dell Technologies Vice President Kim Sung-jun shared their vision and implementation strategies for sustainable management.

In the afternoon, a total of 25 breakout sessions were held across four tracks: Multi-cloud and IT as a Service, Future of the Work Environment, Modern Data Center and Edge, and Security. The 'Multi-Cloud and IT as a Service' track covered ways to optimize IT infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment, an introduction to HCI solutions for application infrastructure advancement, and data storage strategies, while the 'Future of Work Environment' track shared insights from Dell Technologies and partners on success strategies in hybrid work environments and VDI advancement.

In the 'Modern Data Center and Edge Track,' presentations covered green data centers, edge-specific infrastructure design, and Dell's smart cooling solutions, while the 'Security' track covered cyber resilience approaches and zero-trust security starting at the endpoint.


At the Solution Expo exhibition hall on the first floor of the COEX Convention Center, a venue has been set up where visitors can directly check out Dell Technologies' latest IT infrastructure solutions for digital future innovation.

An opportunity was provided to examine the latest solutions in various fields, including Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and Converged Infrastructure (CI), storage, network, server, and data protection, and to hear explanations from experts in charge.

In addition, an exhibition booth was set up where visitors could view Dell's latest PCs, laptops, monitors, and peripherals at a glance.
<bIn the Client Solutions Group (CSG) exhibition area on the first floor, a variety of notable PCs and peripherals were on display, including premium business laptops Latitude and Precision workstations specialized for corporate productivity innovation, top-tier consumer laptops XPS, and Alienware gaming laptops and monitors, attracting the attention of many visitors.

In addition, 56 Dell Technologies global partners, including Intel, Microsoft, Equinix, Samsung Electronics, SCG Solutions, Daol TS, Azwell Plus, and Megazone Cloud, as well as domestic distributors and key partners, participated and introduced their solutions directly at exhibition booths or breakout sessions.

The 'Women In Technology' session for female professionals also attracted a large number of visitors and drew interest.

At this event, Coach Yoon Yeo-soon, LG Group's first female executive, introduced the competencies required of female leaders and shared ways to unleash potential to achieve goals. She also engaged in a meaningful networking session by empathizing with the concerns currently faced by female employees in the field.
