Gaming gear brand SteelSeries announced on the 15th that it is launching the Apex 9 TKL and Apex 9 Mini keyboards, which offer the ultimate sense of speed. The Apex 9 series keyboards, completely redesigned for gamers, are highlighted for their fast speed and customization capabilities via OptiPoint technology, as well as their status as competition-grade keyboards.

The Apex 9 series, which features optical switches in the Apex series, operates 33% faster than other optical keyboards with hot-swap optical switches using SteelSeries' exclusive OptiPoint technology. It supports 2-point actuation adjustment, zero debounce with a response time of only 0.2ms, and dual action key input.

In addition, SteelSeries’ Apex 9 series features exclusive software, SteelSeries GG, which provides customization capabilities for various settings ranging from RGB lighting to actuation point adjustments and dual action functions.

You can choose between a 1mm actuation point optimized for each key's performance and a deeper, more precise 1.5mm value. In addition to 2-point actuation, the Apex 9 series supports dual-action input, allowing you to bind two actions to a single key. This feature enables you to perform two actions—such as walking and running, drawing and throwing grenades, or performing combo attacks—with just one key. For the ultimate customization that takes this a step further, you can create your own unique Apex 9 keyboard by replacing the switches with linear, tactile, or clicky types.

In particular, reflecting the trend of pro gamers preferring mini keyboards, the Apex 9 series boasts SteelSeries' new streamlined design, enabling not only pro gamers but also casual gamers to easily create an efficient gaming environment. The Apex 9 series comes standard with OptiPoint switches for top-tier performance and is released in two models: the Apex 9 Mini and the Apex 9 TKL, featuring tournament-grade size and performance.
