SK Telecom enhances user convenience with its display-equipped AI speaker, 'NUGU nemo II'.

SK Telecom announced on the 20th that it has launched the display-equipped AI speaker 'NUGU nemo II'. 'NUGU nemo II' is the successor model to 'NUGU nemo', which was released in 2019.

The screen size of the display-type speaker on 'NUGU nemo II' has been increased to 10 inches. In addition, the screen automatically switches whether the AI speaker is used standing up or lying upside down.

'Nugu Nemo II' provides 'MeetUs' video calls using the screen and camera.

'Meedus' is a technology developed in-house by SKT that has replaced speech recognition preprocessing technology, designed to accurately recognize user voices coming through the microphone, and call preprocessing technology, designed to clearly distinguish the user's voice during a call.

SKT announced that 'Nugu Nemo II' will be supplied first to an AI and IoT-based senior health management pilot project, and plans to provide non-face-to-face customized health management services using the 'Today Health' application and various devices.
