SK Telecom is hosting SK Group’s comprehensive technology exhibition, ‘SK Tech Summit 2022,’ which anyone interested in technology can participate in for free.

SK Telecom announced on the 11th that it has started registration for the 'SK Tech Summit 2022' on its website (www.sktechsummit.com). The event will be held on November 8-9 at the Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, under the theme "A Better Future Created by SK's Technology."

The 'SK Tech Summit' is a technology conference aimed at fostering a technology ecosystem by consolidating SK's technological capabilities. It features presentations and exhibitions on 127 technologies across 10 fields, including AI, semiconductors, Auto ML, and the metaverse, prepared by 17 SK Group companies, and also includes participation from global tech companies.

Starting with welcoming remarks on the morning of November 8, Lee Jong-min, Head of Future R&D at SK Telecom, and Cha Ji-won, Head of the AI/Data Platform Group at SK Inc. C&C, will give presentations on the themes of 'A healthy and safe future created by AI technology' and 'A future where anyone can create AI models'.

Next, presentations will be given by Kim Ki-wan, Head of Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services Korea, and Estee Cheng, Managing Director of gTech Sustainability at Google's technology division.

At 'SK Tech Summit 2022', you can view and participate in discussions on research achievements regarding SK Telecom's Green AI technology for achieving net-zero goals, SK Inc. C&C's digital transformation innovation cases centered on AI, Data, and Cloud, and SK Hynix's next-generation semiconductor technology.

SKT said that as this event is being held offline for the first time in three years, it will provide various experiences and networking opportunities.

At the on-site exhibition booth, visitors can experience UAM VR and the metaverse. Even if you cannot attend in person, you can participate in live streaming and an online exhibition booth tour utilizing the metaverse. In addition, networking opportunities will be provided, ranging from gatherings among developers to on-site mentoring for university students and recruitment booths.
