Inspian (CEO Jeong-gyu Choi), a data security solution specialist, announced on the 23rd that it has successfully implemented the integrated log management system 'BizInsider PLUS' in KT IS, a customer service specialist and affiliate of KT, the largest digital platform group in Korea.

KT Information Systems (IS) has decided to replace its aging log management system to improve its existing system and ensure seamless service delivery. KT is urging its affiliates to comply with security requirements that exceed government legal requirements. As part of its proactive response, KT Information Systems (IS) is reportedly moving forward with a full-scale replacement with Inspian's integrated log management system.

To strengthen personal information protection, the government has strengthened legal mechanisms such as the Information and Communications Network Act and the Personal Information Protection Act, institutionalizing secure log management for public institutions and businesses. In particular, the government is legally requiring integrated log management, including separate access records and separate storage device backups, as well as prevention of falsification and alteration of access records.

With the introduction of Inspien's integrated log management system, KT IS not only established a more robust monitoring system but also strengthened its anomaly detection and internal information leak review process by defining a new scenario ruleset. Furthermore, personnel information was integrated to ensure more efficient and secure system operation. This integration allowed for the addition of a feature that allows personnel information to be searched during log searches. Furthermore, by integrating systems containing user IP information, KT IS can now determine whether the IP address associated with each log matches the personnel information.
