Applied Materials Korea (CEO Park Kwang-sun), a global leader in materials engineering solutions, presents innovative solutions for semiconductor technology inflection points.

Applied Materials is participating in 'Semicon Korea 2023', the largest domestic semiconductor industry exhibition, held at COEX in Seoul from February 1 to 3.

Six experts from Applied Materials present Applied's latest solutions to accelerate improvements in chip performance, power, size, cost, and time to market (PPACt).

At the SEMI Technology Symposium (STS) on February 1, lectures will be given by Ajay Bhatnagar, Global Head of Product Management, on 'DRAM Capacitor Miniaturization with New Hard Mask and High Aspect Ratio Etching Technology' and Lee Byung-chan, Senior Technology Director at IMS, on 'New I/O Oxide Formation for GAA Transistors'.

On the 2nd, lectures will be held on 'Solving EUV Patterning Problems Through Pattern Formation' by Amol Gupta, Senior Global Product Manager; 'CMP Opportunities as 2D Miniaturization Transitions to 3D Heterogeneous Integration' by Kevin Song, Senior Marketing Manager; and 'Technical Challenges for Logic and Memory C2W Hybrid Bonding' by Jin-ho Ahn, Technical Director of Customer Division.

Aviram Tam, Senior Product Manager at the Imaging and Process Control Group (IPC), said, 'Electron Beam (eBeamParticipating in the MI (Metrology & Inspection) Forum under the theme of ‘Inflection Point of Patterning Control in the 3D Era Led by ) Solutions’.

On the 3rd, Applied Materials will also participate in the 'Meet the Experts' mentoring seminar, organized to foster future talent in the semiconductor industry. Current engineers from Applied Materials Korea will participate to share diverse information and vivid experiences with science and engineering university students hoping to find employment in the semiconductor field.

Meanwhile, John Wei, Senior Investment Manager at Applied Ventures, which invests in promising companies in Silicon Valley and around the world, will give a presentation on the topic of "Investing in System Stack Materials - Applied Ventures' Perspective," providing a corporate venture capital perspective on investment trends across the semiconductor value chain.
