Samsung, the only major domestic conglomerate to maintain a system for recruiting new employees, has posted a recruitment notice for the first half of the year to recruit future talent who will lead the next generation of Samsung.

Samsung announced on the 8th that it has started the open recruitment process for new employees in the first half of 2023 by posting job openings for each affiliate.

The affiliates that have started recruiting new employees this time are Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDI, Samsung SDS, Samsung BioLogics, Samsung Bioepis, Samsung C&T, Samsung Engineering, Samsung Heavy Industries, Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Securities, Samsung Asset Management, Hotel Shilla, Cheil Worldwide, S1, Samsung Welstory, and Samsung Electronics Sales, for a total of 19 companies.

Applicants seeking employment can submit their applications through Samsung's recruitment website, 'Samsung Careers', from the 8th to the 15th. The first half of the year's recruitment will be conducted in the following order: △Job Suitability Assessment (March), △Samsung Job Aptitude Test (April), △Interview (May), and △Recruitment Health Checkup (June).

The Global Samsung Aptitude Test (GSAT) is administered online. Applicants for software development positions are selected through a "S/W Competency Test," which requires them to code given problems, rather than an aptitude test. Applicants for design positions are assessed on their design skills by submitting a design portfolio.

Meanwhile, beyond new hires, Samsung is supporting young people, the "hope of the future," to develop into outstanding talent. To help strengthen young people's software competitiveness, the company operates the Samsung Software Academy for Youth (SSAFY), which provides free, high-quality software training at five locations nationwide: Seoul, Daejeon, Gwangju, Gumi, and Busan.

In addition, since 2012, we have been operating the 'Samsung Dream Class', which provides education in subjects such as English and math, career/future planning, global capabilities, and software education to middle school students from underprivileged educational environments.
