Intel is stepping up to enhance corporate safety and productivity with the launch of a new business platform featuring dozens of built-in security functions.

Intel announced on the 24th that it has launched a new Intel vPro® platform equipped with the 13th generation Intel® Core™ processor family.

Designed for business PCs, Intel vPro meets the ever-changing needs of enterprises with benefits such as the most comprehensive security offerings, new hardware for companies requiring PC replacement, and improved productivity for all employees.

Intel announced that major global partners, including Samsung, Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu, and Panasonic, will launch a wide range of products this year, including over 170 Intel vPro-equipped laptops, desktops, and entry-level workstations.

The new Intel vPro platform protects systems from critical threats through dozens of security features built into the chip and can reduce cyber attack targets by up to 70% compared to a 4-year-old PC2.

In addition, virtualization-based security in Windows will rise to a groundbreaking level through new IT-supported memory encryption.

Customers have more options through Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) vendors that support Intel® Threat Detection Technology, enabling them to detect the latest threats more efficiently.

Intel vPro is the only business platform with all these capabilities and provides the industry's most comprehensive security features, equipped with hardware security that detects ransomware and software supply chain attacks.

The new vPro platform is based on 13th Gen Intel Core processors. It offers a hybrid architecture featuring Performance Cores and more Efficient Cores in select products, as well as smart task classification with Intel® Thread Director and better energy efficiency with Intel® Dynamic Tuning Technology. Intel vPro devices are platforms optimized for modern business computing, featuring leading technologies such as Intel® Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+), Thunderbolt™ 4, and Intel® Evo™ platforms, and providing excellent user experiences such as intelligent collaboration.

Intel vPro products equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core offer advantages such as: up to 65% faster Windows application performance compared to a 3-year-old desktop PC; up to 45% faster content creation speed compared to an existing AMD desktop during multitasking; up to 2.3 times faster Windows application performance compared to a 3-year-old mobile PC; up to 40% faster Windows application performance compared to an existing AMD Notebook 6 and up to 25% faster business application performance compared to Apple M2.7; and up to 58% faster report generation compared to an existing AMD notebook during collaboration.

According to a recent IDC report, Windows PCs based on Intel processors had a 26% lower risk of major PC-related security events compared to other Windows PCs.
