Intel has released its annual corporate responsibility report, showing it has achieved the goals it set three years ago eight years ahead of schedule, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and supply chain diversity.

Intel announced on the 15th that it had released its annual corporate responsibility report.

This year's report includes a statement that the company has achieved its goal of increasing global annual spend with diverse suppliers to $2 billion by 2030, eight years ahead of schedule, set three years ago.

Intel's spending with diverse suppliers totaled $2.2 billion, nearly 15 times the annual total when it launched its supplier diversity program in 2015 and double the 2019 results.

Intel is committed to driving positive change beyond the impact of technology on people's lives, across our supply chain and in our communities. The development of a diverse semiconductor ecosystem can lead to providing equal opportunities to the underprivileged and ultimately revitalize their communities.

When Intel launched its supplier diversity program, semiconductor manufacturers had limited awareness of the positive benefits diverse suppliers bring to their supply chains.

Intel is leading the way in expanding diverse suppliers across the semiconductor industry through a number of initiatives and active partnerships with large suppliers and industry groups.

The report provides insight into how Intel’s commitment to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) is key to the company’s success.
