Intel unveiled the Arc Pro A60 and Arc Pro A60M on the 7th as new products in its Intel Arc Pro A series of professional GPUs.

The new Intel Arc Pro lineup is said to offer significant performance improvements, supporting up to 12GB of video memory (VRAM) and is designed for professional workstations that can connect to up to four displays with support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Dolby Vision.

The Intel Arc Pro A60 GPU has built-in ray tracing hardware, graphics acceleration, and machine learning capabilities. Additionally, it integrates fluid viewports that support the latest visualization technologies and rich content creation in a single-slot factor.

Additionally, Intel Arc Pro A-series graphics provide a new choice for workstation GPUs, and the Intel Arc Pro A60 and A60M are said to provide twice the performance of the existing Intel Arc Pro family with up to 16 PCIe lanes, 384 gigabytes per second of memory bandwidth, 256 dedicated AI Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) engines, and 16 ray tracing units.

It also supports full media encoding and decoding, including AV1, and Intel Arc Pro GPUs create an ideal working environment for computer-aided design and modeling (CAD/CAM), AI inference tasks, and media data processing. Intel Arc Pro GPUs receive quarterly driver updates for performance optimization and are ISV-certified for leading workstation applications used in the architecture, engineering and construction, design, and manufacturing industries.

These include Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Maya, Bentley MicroStation, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS, Nemetscheck VectorWorks, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, and Siemens Solid Edge.

Additionally, Intel's workstation GPUs are optimized for media and entertainment applications like Blender and run rendering and ray tracing libraries from the Intel oneAPI rendering toolkit to deliver high-performance, high-fidelity visual experiences.

The Intel Arc Pro A60 GPU for workstation desktops will reportedly be available through Intel authorized distributors within a few weeks, while the Intel Arc Pro A60M GPU for mobile systems will be available through OEM partners within a few months. Workstations featuring the Intel Arc Pro A40 GPU are available now from HP, with Dell and Lenovo expected to follow in Q3 2023.

Meanwhile, the Intel Arc Pro GPU family has been validated for use with the Intel NUC 13 SFF (Extreme small form factor) PC, which features an unlocked 13th Gen Intel Core processor with a 125W power supply. Additionally, Intel Arc Pro desktop products are backed by a three-year limited warranty.
