KT and Gangnam District Office have joined hands to create a robot-friendly future city capable of providing services in various delivery fields through the capabilities of a robot platform.

KT announced on the 7th that it signed an MOU with Gangnam-gu Office to ‘provide outdoor robot delivery service.’

This agreement aims to develop an outdoor robot delivery service by combining KT's robotics technology with Gangnam-gu Office's urban administrative capabilities, and to enable outdoor delivery robots to quickly and accurately deliver food and daily necessities to various locations within Gangnam-gu. This will provide residents with convenient and safe delivery services and a robot-friendly future city life.

KT plans to provide stable and reliable services in various delivery business areas in collaboration with Gangnam-gu by utilizing a robot platform, integrated control system, communication infrastructure, and outdoor autonomous robots.

Through this MOU, KT and Gangnam-gu Office plan to pursue continuous technological research and development and service cooperation to implement an innovative delivery model utilizing robots in Gangnam-gu and create a best practice example of an outdoor robot delivery service.
