4 New Companies Host 'K-AI Alliance Unite'
Joining hands for AI technology sharing and joint ventures… Synergy expected

SKT is accelerating its global efforts to expand a massive AI ecosystem centered on the 'K-AI Alliance'.

SKT held the K-AI Alliance Unite event in Silicon Valley on the 16th (local time). It was announced that CEO Yoo Young-sang and representatives from 'K-AI Alliance' partner companies gathered in large numbers to discuss 'measures to strengthen business cooperation to lead the global AI ecosystem.'

This event is an official follow-up to the announcement of the launch of the 'K-AI Alliance' at MWC23 in Barcelona, Spain, last February, aimed at collaborating on AI business and jointly pursuing global expansion.

SKT is seeking various cooperation and global expansion opportunities with a total of 11 companies, including the newly joined AI companies CMES, MakinaRocks, Scatter Lab, and FriendlyAI, as well as Sapion, Bespin Global, Moloco, Konan Technologies, Sweet, Phantom AI, and Toart, forming the 'K-AI Alliance'.

President Yoo Young-sang shared the company's vision for a major AI transformation and business plans with representatives of alliance partners at SKTA (SK Telecom Americas, Inc.) in Silicon Valley, along with executives.

In addition, we spent time discussing recent hot topics such as Silicon Valley-centric AI trends and their implications, R&D technology sharing, and the exploration of global business and investment opportunities.

In particular, 'Cimes', which is newly joining this time, is a company specializing in AI robotics software development, and discussed ways to develop Robot as a Service (RaaS) pricing plans and utilize an AI-based RaaS subscription business model targeting companies.

SKT plans to launch an emotional conversational AI agent within the A. service with Scatter Lab, in which it invested 15 billion won in equity last April. />
MakinaRocks, a company specializing in industrial AI, and FriendlyAI, an AI development platform company, also share their respective core AI technologies.
