Applied Materials Korea (CEO Kwang-sun Park), a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is actively supporting the development of domestic scientific talent by sponsoring various scientific knowledge learning and hands-on experiences for local children for three consecutive years.

Applied Materials announced on the 3rd that it will be sponsoring the 'Science Classroom with Applied Materials' program with the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation for the third consecutive year.

The science class with Applied will be held during the summer vacation for approximately 400 elementary and middle school students at 22 local children's centers in the southern Gyeonggi region, including Seongnam, Icheon, Hwaseong, and Pyeongtaek.

The goal of this program is to enable students to solve problems based on scientific evidence and to enhance their creativity.

Participating children can easily learn and experience the theory through experiential teaching aids that enhance their understanding of electric energy, renewable energy, and semiconductors in everyday life.

Applied Materials employees are participating in the Science Classroom program once again this year.

Applied Materials Korea works with the local community and provides support to local children. We are continuing our educational programs, including the Science Classroom, Smart Reader Reading Classroom, and With Harmony Orchestra, to provide diverse educational opportunities in science, art, and more.
