Infineon Technologies (Korea CEO Seung-soo Lee), a leader in the power systems sector, will secure an annual SiC sales capacity of 7 billion euros by 2030 through an additional investment of 5 billion euros in the SiC sector.

Infineon announced that it is expanding its investment plans for the Kulim plant in Malaysia to build the world's largest 200mm SiC (silicon carbide) power fab.

Infineon plans to invest up to an additional 5 billion euros in the Kulim plant over the next five years to secure an annual SiC sales capacity of approximately 7 billion euros by 2030.

Infineon aimed to exceed its SiC sales target of 1 billion euros in the 2025 fiscal year.
