DeepX is taking busy steps to enter the global market, including participating in 'Computex Taipei 2023' held in Taipei, Taiwan last June.

DeepX, a developer of source technology for artificial intelligence semiconductors, announced on the 22nd that it is continuing its full-scale expansion into the East Asian market by participating in 'ELEXCON 2023,' the largest electronics exhibition in Shenzhen, China, and showcasing its technology and products to the Greater China market.

ELEXCON 2023, which will be held for three days from the 23rd to the 25th, is an international electronics exhibition held at the Shenzhen International Convention Center in China. It is a global exhibition with participation from Huawei, Tencent, Alibaba, and North American semiconductor design solution partner (DSP) Mouser Electronics.

DeepX is bringing a chip solution capable of targeting the entire edge AI semiconductor market to an event expected to be attended by over 600 global brands in the fields of AI, IoT, embedded systems, and autonomous vehicles, as well as more than 50,000 related technology experts.

DeepX offers four products, the 'DX-L1, DX-L2, DX-M1, and DX-H1' total AI semiconductor solutions, in China It is scheduled to be officially unveiled to the market. Through a series of products applicable to a wide range of applications—from small sensors to robots, home appliances, smart mobility, and edge servers—it is expected to showcase the excellence of AI semiconductor technology and create diverse business opportunities.

In addition, they plan to showcase a real-time demo running AI algorithms for robots by integrating their M.2 module with Orange Pi, an open embedded platform with a rich ecosystem.

According to market research firm IDC, it is projected that half of the IT devices sold in the Chinese market by 2026 will be equipped with AI engines. Targeting this market, DeepX plans to launch mass-produced products of the world's highest-performing AI semiconductors in 2024.

It is expected that there will be an opportunity to seize the huge edge AI market in 2026 in line with the shipment of mass production lineups by IT device companies in 2025.

To make a full-scale entry into the Greater China region, DeepX formed a partnership with Coasia Elec, an exclusive distributor of Samsung Electronics, last April and began full-scale collaboration to enter the East Asian market, including deploying dedicated business personnel to mainland China and Taiwan and pursuing cooperation with potential clients.

DeepX anticipates that a significant number of Coasia Elec's current clients will require AI semiconductors. Coasia Elec is a company with over 300 global clients generating approximately 1 trillion won in annual revenue, and its main revenue sources are memory semiconductors and CMOS image sensors (CIS). These semiconductor components are essential elements of machine vision systems and have the nature of being compatible with the AI semiconductors developed by DeepX.

DeepX participated in 'Computex Taipei 2023' held in Taipei, Taiwan last June and was recognized for its innovative source technology and commercial potential to lead the global market.

In particular, at 'Computex Taipei InnoVEX 2023,' a special exhibition for startups, it won the 'Startup Terrace Awards' and a prize of US$20,000 out of 400 global startups.

DeepX is reportedly set to participate in the International AI Expo, the largest AI exhibition to be held in Chongqing, China, this coming October, to continue showcasing its products to customers in the Greater China region and globally for the rapidly growing Greater China market.

DeepX CEO Kim Nok-won emphasized, “DeepX plans to participate in various exhibitions and promotional activities held locally at least three to four times a year to secure a leading position in the AI semiconductor market in China and Taiwan, which will become key battlegrounds for AI semiconductor technology,” adding, “We received a positive response from companies in Greater China at the recent Computex exhibition in Taiwan.”
