The main functions include: △Sleep measurement that distinguishes between sleep and wakefulness, such as total sleep time, sleep efficiency, time to fall asleep, and number of times you wake up; △Detection of sleep stages such as REM sleep or non-REM sleep; and △Detection of respiratory factors such as changes in abnormal breathing intensity.

Infineon's Sensing as a Service (SEaaS) approach to accelerate OEM time-to-market, the XENSIV Sleep Quality Service comprises sensing, computing and connectivity hardware, associated firmware, and cloud-based services that process and analyze data from millions of users worldwide.
