The Matter Bluetooth development kit, designed to accelerate IoT development, has been released. The multi-standard smart home communication controller offers interoperability and scalability.

Mouser Electronics announced today that it is now stocking Qorvo's Matter and Bluetooth development kit, the QPG6105DK.

The QPG6105DK development kit enables developers to quickly and easily bring Internet of Things (IoT) devices to market. This IoT development kit is ideal for developers of matter and low-energy products, including smart home sensors and actuators, smart lighting, thermostats, and other connected devices.

Qorvo's QPG6105DK development kit, now available at Mouser, is a multi-standard smart home communications controller. It includes a powerful Matter and Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) development environment, along with several tools and example applications to facilitate IoT development. Certified for Matter, Thread, Bluetooth LE, and Zigbee, this kit offers a high level of interoperability and scalability.

This development kit, which features Cobo's ConcurrentConnect technology, can support simultaneous communication between multiple smart home devices via multiple protocols that can operate concurrently.

The Matter and Bluetooth development kit consists of a QPG6105-based wireless board and a separate carrier board, which supports both debugging and application development for the wireless board. The carrier board includes a SEGGER J-Link onboard debugger, a virtual COM port, a humidity passive infrared (PIR) and Hall sensor, and user LEDs and buttons. The wireless board features a QPG6105 SoC with 1Mbyte of flash, 128KByte RAM, and +10dBm output power.
