The Institute for Basic Science (IBS, Director Noh Do-young) Nanomedicine Research Center's research team, led by Park Jang-ung, Senior Research Fellow (Professor, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Yonsei University), has jointly developed with Professor Jung Hyun-ho's research team from the Department of Neurosurgery at Severance Hospital a technology that combines pressure sensors with electrotactile devices to implement consistent tactile sensation on displays and classifies tactile information based on brain waves to realize more than nine different tactile sensations.
