Intel announced on the 5th that it has officially released the 'Aion 2 Gaming Collaboration PC', a special edition desktop optimized for NCsoft's next-generation MMORPG 'Aion 2'.

This product features performance optimization jointly conducted by both companies to achieve a level of stability and immersion that can be felt in an actual playing environment.

The 'Aion 2 Gaming Collaboration PC' is designed based on the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265K processor and the NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics card.

In particular, Aion 2 actively utilized Intel's latest hybrid architecture to optimize the game engine's threading structure.

Intel provided the NCsoft development team with performance optimization guidelines utilizing Intel® Thread Director technology, and the development team analyzed bottlenecks using VTune Profiler to maximize CPU resource usage efficiency.

This allows latency-sensitive tasks such as rendering to be handled by the P-cores (high-performance cores), while physics simulations and;The structure has been improved so that tasks requiring parallel processing, such as particle effects, are handled by E-cores (high-efficiency cores).

As a result, the operating system and thread director can more accurately recognize the game load and appropriately allocate CPU resources, which leads to improved frame rates (FPS), reduced heat generation, and a stable playing environment even in large-scale battles.
