AI semiconductor company Furiosa AI and high-performance networking and AI system optimization specialist MangoBoost have joined hands to conquer the next-generation AI data center market.

Furiosa AI announced on the 15th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with MangoBoost for joint technology development in the fields of artificial intelligence and data center infrastructure, and has decided to establish a mutual cooperation system.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to strengthen technological exchanges and accelerate competitiveness in the data center market.

Recently, 'AI Transformation (AX)' through the construction of artificial intelligence infrastructure is gaining momentum worldwide.

On the other hand, as the high power consumption of GPUs acts as a bottleneck in the spread of artificial intelligence, the market demand for semiconductor solutions that can efficiently implement the performance required in actual service environments is rapidly increasing.

High-efficiency semiconductors are attracting attention as a key element that not only improves infrastructure efficiency but also alleviates various constraints, such as cooling facilities and site selection, shortening infrastructure construction time and accelerating the transition to artificial intelligence.

Furiosa AI is a proprietary chip architecture specialized for AI computation, the Tensor Condensation Processor (TCP, T).It possesses the 'Sensor Contraction Processor' and software stack technology, and is scheduled to mass produce the second-generation chip 'RNGD (Renegade)' equipped with HBM at the end of this month.

MangoBoost possesses DPU (data processing unit) specialized in high-performance networking and AI system performance optimization technology, and began mass production of the 'BoostX DPU' product line boasting 400GbE-level performance earlier this month.

Both companies are deep-tech companies recognized globally for their technological prowess, and the industry is watching closely to see what changes this collaboration will bring to resolving the global AI bottleneck.

Through this agreement, the two companies are expected to maximize technological synergy in the fields of artificial intelligence and data center infrastructure and strengthen their position in the global market.
