AMD is expected to help simplify local AI development in Windows environments and deliver tangible productivity gains to developers and creators who want to easily configure GPU-accelerated AI workloads.

AMD has unveiled a new optional installation package, the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition AI Bundle, that dramatically simplifies the Windows-based local AI development environment.

This AI bundle, which ships with the latest Adrenalin 26.1.1 driver, is designed to make it easier to build and run AI workloads on AMD Ryzen and Radeon-based systems.

Until now, starting AI development in a Windows environment required a complex initial setup process, from installing GPU drivers to configuring the Python environment and resolving framework dependencies.

To lower these barriers to entry, AMD has developed an integrated package that automatically configures the core tools needed for AI development.

The Adrenaline AI bundle includes PyTorch for Windows, ComfyUI, an image generation workflow tool, Ollama, a local LLM execution platform, LM Studio, a large-scale language model management tool, and Amuse, which is optimized for text-to-image generation.

Use through thisIt can perform various AI tasks such as model learning, inference, image generation, and LLM testing without any separate settings.

Supported hardware has also been expanded.

The AI bundle is available on Radeon RX 9000 series and RX 7000 series GPUs (RX 7700 and above), and Ryzen AI Max, AI 400, and AI 300 series processors.

AMD aims to provide an optimal environment for users and developers who want to run AI workloads locally without cloud costs.

This Adrenaline 26.1.1 driver also includes support for new hardware.

The latest processors, including Ryzen AI 9 HX 475, HX 470, AI 9 465, AI 7 450, AI 7 445, AI 5 435, and AI 5 430, have been newly added to the supported list.

Additionally, in the gaming field, optimizations were made for 'Starsand Island' and 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Burning Embers Edition'.
