Expanding consumer experience opportunities amidst the AI PC transition
Three authorized Intel dealers are launching a joint promotion targeting Intel Core Ultra processors, considered a next-generation PC platform. The goal is to directly inform consumers about the performance characteristics of these processors in various PC environments, including gaming and AI tasks.
On the 10th, Coit, Intec & Company, and PC Direct announced that they will be running a promotion linked to the purchase of genuine Intel Core Ultra 5, 7, and 9 processors under the theme of 'Creating All Possibilities: All-Play, All-AI'.
To participate, purchase the eligible product from a designated PC specialty shopping mall and submit your receipt. A number of online distribution channels are included, including Compuzone, Shop Danawa, Icoda, Joyzen, Oh My PC, Happy Shopping, PC For All, iComfree, Guidecom, My PC Shop, Computers from the Star, and Monsta PC.
Intel Core Ultra processors feature a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This NPU is designed to accelerate AI deep learning, enabling efficient performance of AI-based graphics processing and image recognition tasks. It is emphasized that it can be used in continuous AI operations or AI offload environments based on a low-power structure.
On the platform side, it supports Intel 800 series chipset motherboards and DDR5 memory (up to 6400MHz). It utilizes the latest Intel Hybrid Architecture, combining performance and efficiency cores to deliver a structure designed for multithreaded tasks and multitasking environments.
It also supports integrated Thunderbolt 4 ports and discrete Thunderbolt 5 technology, and offers network optimization features through Intel Killer Network Solutions and Connectivity Performance Suite 4. This allows for the connection of various peripherals and a stable network environment.
An official from an Intel authorized dealer said that the Intel Core Ultra processor is designed to be used as a PC platform that can cover a variety of usage environments such as gaming, content creation, and AI utilization, and that this promotion is expected to be an opportunity for consumers to experience the platform.
