The Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) (President Ryu Seok-hyun, hereinafter referred to as KIMM), under the Ministry of Science and ICT, is actively recruiting key talent to lead the nation's future strategic technologies, such as AX (Artificial Intelligence Transformation), AI robots, and carbon neutrality.

The Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials announced on the 20th that it will select 15 people in 13 fields across three job groups, including research, technical, and administrative positions, through the '2026 First Open Recruitment of New Employees'.

This recruitment is aimed at strengthening research capabilities to respond to digital transformation and shifting energy paradigms.

The recruitment will involve 11 researchers, 3 technical staff, and 1 administrative staff, focusing on expanding the workforce specialized in AI-based machine technology and achieving carbon neutrality.

The research positions are recruiting for turbomachinery technology for energy systems, intelligent robots, artificial intelligence-based machinery and robotics, biomechanical system design and control, nano AX/DX technology, digital twin and AI-based autonomous manufacturing agents, heat flow and indoor environment diagnosis and prediction technology, mechanical design and analysis AI agents, agentic AI, and data engineering.

The technical staff will recruit talent in the fields of low-carbon energy system safety technology and intelligent robots, while the administrative staff will select personnel in charge of external cooperation.

Application deadline is February 2ndThe application process will run from 0:00 AM on March 13th to 11:00 AM on March 13th. The final successful candidates will be announced on June 17th after document screening, written examination (NCS), and interview. The expected hiring date is June 29th.
