SKT's "Haein" wins GLOMO's "Best Cloud Solution" award at MWC

GPUaaS based on a single cluster of 1,000+ B200 sheets
Competition among domestic telecommunications companies in AI computing infrastructure was once again confirmed at MWC Barcelona 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. SK Telecom's GPU cluster, "Haein," was named the winner of the "Best Cloud Solution" award at the GSMA Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO).
SK Telecom announced on March 5th (local time) that it won the "Best Cloud Solution" award at the GLOMO Awards held during MWC26. The GLOMO awards ceremony is held annually in conjunction with MWC Barcelona.
The award-winning work, 'Haein', was introduced as an infrastructure that consists of a single cluster of over 1,000 'NVIDIA B200' GPUs based on NVIDIA Blackwell. Based on this, SKT explained that it is providing GPUaaS (GPU-as-a-Service), which provides GPU resources in the cloud format according to customer demand.
In terms of operations, the company announced that it will apply the GPU virtualization solution 'Petasus AI Cloud' to divide and reconfigure clusters according to demand, and provide 'AI Cloud Manager', an integrated development and operation management tool.
The connection with government-supported projects was also mentioned. SKT announced that the "Haein" cluster was selected for the "Strengthening AI Computing Resource Utilization Base (GPU Rental Support)" project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and is currently supporting the project. The project is advertised as providing support for computational resources (GPU rental) required for AI development.
With this award, SKT continues its streak of winning the "Best Cloud Solution" category for three consecutive years. MWC Barcelona previously announced SKT's "Cloud Radar" as the 2024 "Best Cloud Solution" winner, and SKT's "Petasus Cloud" as the 2025 winner.
