Qorvo, a connectivity and power solutions company, will participate in IMS 2026 in Boston, USA, to unveil its RF solutions. Qorvo plans to introduce live demos and semiconductor foundry services targeting the satellite communications, 5G, IoT, defense, and wireless infrastructure sectors.


Kobo announced that it will participate in IMS2026, which will be held in Boston, USA, from June 7 to 12. The exhibition booth is number 20036, and the theme of the event is 'Proven RF Solutions.' Live at IMS.

Kobo will conduct a total of six live demos at this event.

The demonstration areas are millimeter wave (mmWave) and Wi-Fi connectivity, SATCOM beamforming, IoT long-range amplification, 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), filtering and spectrum control, and GaN-based radar systems.

RF solutions refer to products and systems based on radio frequency technology used to transmit, receive, amplify, filter, or control wireless signals.

Through this demo, Qorvo plans to present application examples of its RF technology used in satellite communications, 5G, IoT, and the defense industry.

Qorvo is participating as a Platinum Sponsor of IMS2026 and a Diamond Sponsor of the RFIC Symposium. The company announced that it plans to explain RF performance and system application methods through demos simulating real-world application environments.

Kobo will also introduce 'Elite360 Foundry & Services' at the event.

This service was described as a semiconductor foundry and service that combines U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities, RF semiconductor technology, packaging expertise, and space product verification services.

Technical papers related to beamforming, GaN, filtering, and system integration will also be presented at the IMS and RFIC symposiums. Qorvo will also participate in the Satellite Communication and Non-Ground Network (NTN) workshop on the theme of next-generation satellite communications.

In addition, joint demos with partner companies will be conducted at the exhibition to showcase system integration case studies. Kobo explained that during the event, technical sessions and key programs would allow for media briefings and meetings with technology experts.

Philip Chesley, President of Qorvo’s High Performance Analog Business Unit, stated that IMS is a venue where industry stakeholders review technology based on actual systems, and that Qorvo plans to focus on explaining its RF performance, manufacturing expertise, and system integration capabilities across customer applications.
