Ahead of the summer vacation season, KT has simultaneously launched low-cost roaming products and local app partnership benefits targeting customers visiting Southeast Asia. The intention is to target the demand for short-term overseas travel with a reasonable pricing structure.

KT announced on the 20th that it has launched a 'Southeast Asia Budget Roaming' product available in six major Southeast Asian countries.

The target countries are Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

The usage fee is 25,000 won, and it provides 3GB of data and 30 minutes of voice calls for 7 days.

After the basic data is exhausted, you can continue to use it at a maximum speed of 400Kbps.

The sales period is until October 31.

KT also provides additional benefits to roaming subscribers through a partnership with the local mobile and lifestyle service app GRAB.

The eligible products are Together Roaming, Y Together Roaming, Budget Roaming, All Day Roaming Basic, Plus, and Premium.

When entering seven countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, a Grab Travel Pass code is automatically sent via text message, and if you register it on the GRAB app, you can receive discounts worth up to 100,000 won when using ride-hailing, food delivery, and grocery shopping.

The benefit will end when the prepared quantity is exhausted.

"We will continue to prepare various benefits so that customers can conveniently use roaming services overseas."
