Intel Korea has launched a domestic preliminary round for a global AI competition for youth and university students and is recruiting participants. It is a structure that discovers ideas to solve social issues such as education, healthcare, and the environment using AI and connects them to the global stage.


Intel Korea announced on the 21st that it would officially hold the selection competition for the Korean representatives of the 'Intel AI Global Impact Festival' and begin accepting applications on the same day.

This competition is Intel's AI education program in which students from around the world utilize AI technology to propose solutions to social and industrial problems and are evaluated on a global stage.

The overall schedule proceeds in the following order: application registration and project submission (July 21–August 25) △domestic preliminary written screening (mid-September) △presentation by Korean representatives and global final online interview screening (October).

Registration for participation can be done through the official support page (aifestival.digitalreadiness.org) or through Intel-certified education partners △GonuAI △Union △Circulus.

The team selected as the Korean representative will be granted the right to participate in the global finals, along with a certificate and prize money.

Intel Korea explained that the final global award winning team will be provided with the opportunity to participate in global events and visit Intel's overseas campuses.

The finalists and final award results will be announced via individual notification and the official website.
