AAIF Unveils 'MCP Developer Summit Seoul' Sessions and MCPA Certification

AAIF announced that it will hold the MCP Developer Summit in Seoul for two days from August 13 to 14.
Held for the fourth time in Seoul following New York, Bengaluru, and Mumbai this year, this event brings together developers, administrators, researchers, and corporate practitioners to focus on the implementation and deployment of agentic AI systems.
The main new program of this event is the Model Context Protocol Associate (MCPA) certification.
As a vendor-independent certification that verifies basic competency regarding MCP (Model Context Protocol), thisParticipants of the Seoul Summit can be the first to acquire this.
Angela Brown, Senior Vice President of Events at the Linux Foundation, said, “Developers need practical guidance on technologies and use cases currently in actual use, beyond discussions of possibilities,” adding that “the MCP Developer Summit is a venue to learn directly and interact with engineers leading the next generation of AI applications.”
The technology content consists of more than 50 sessions organized into 6 tracks.
The tracks were organized into Agent Architecture and Orchestration, MCP-based Implementation, Ecosystem, Registry and Platform Infrastructure, Enterprise Adoption and Integration, In-depth Analysis of MCP Protocols, and Security, Identity and Trust.
All registrants can participate in the practical workshop track at no extra cost.
Anthropic, Naver Cloud, Orkes, and IBM will participate in the keynote speeches.

Mouser Supplies NXP i.MX 91… Expanding the Foundation for Linux-Based Edge Device Development
Mouser Electronics has begun supplying NXP Semiconductor's i.MX 91 application processor. The i.MX 91 is based on an Arm Cortex-A55 operating at up to 1.4GHz and is designed to enable rapid development of Linux-based edge devices. It targets diverse applications including smart home, IoT, industrial, and medical sectors, and incorporates EdgeLock Secure Enclave to provide security features such as secure boot, tamper detection, and lifecycle management. Support for NXP's long-term product supply assurance program is also included. Mouser supplies the FRDM-IMX91S board and evaluation kit for development validation, supporting early-stage evaluation and design acceleration through wireless connectivity, power consumption measurement, and preliminary demo exploration.
