Group-IB participated in 'ISEC 2026 (the 20th International Security Conference)' held from the 11th to 12th at Seoul COEX, with Chief Product Officer Raymon van der Velde delivering a keynote address on the 12th, the company announced.

The keynote topic was 'Detection Is No Longer Enough in the Era of Weaponized AI,' presenting a new security operations model suited to the AI era.

Group-IB explained that with the proliferation of generative AI, the entire cyber attack lifecycle from preparation to execution—including phishing, deepfakes, ransomware, and account takeover—is being automated.

While attackers leverage AI to conduct large-scale attacks faster and at lower cost, most security organizations still rely on manual investigation and response methods, making it difficult to keep pace with attack velocity—such is the company's assessment.

CPO van der Velde stated, "Attackers are already moving at AI speed, but defenders are still responding at human speed. Since detection is reactive mitigation after an attack has begun, the AI era demands we revolutionize response speed itself."

'Prevyn AI' unveiled at the event integrates and analyzes data generated across Group-IB's security product suite—including threat intelligence, digital risk protection, attack surface management, Managed XDR, and fraud prevention—into a single platform.

Rather than relying on publicly available internet information, the platform performs inference, analysis, and prediction based on Group-IB's accumulated Intelligence Data Lake, enabling analysis of attacker behavior and threat context difficult to identify from public information alone, the company explained.

Operations are divided into two modes.

△Agentic Mode deploys eleven specialized AI agents to simultaneously analyze malware, vulnerabilities, dark web, and attack infrastructure across each domain, automatically generating threat reports.

△Assistive Mode applies 'Human-in-the-Loop' methodology within a Managed XDR environment, where AI correlates security alerts with threat intelligence to provide response recommendations, with actual remediation actions requiring security personnel approval.

During the event, Group-IB operated an exhibition booth and a separate meeting space (Conference Room 210) to conduct technical demonstrations and security strategy consulting for domestic customers and partners.
