On July 7, Kaspersky hosted a special session on the theme of "Promoting and Strengthening Cybersecurity for SMEs for Sustainable Development." The session was attended by Yulia Shlikhachova, Vice President of Global Public Policy at Kaspersky, along with Nigeria's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Indonesia's National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), and Digital Cooperation Organization representatives. Participants discussed methods for securing cyber resilience for SMEs with limited security investment capacity, the role of national institutions, and cross-border cooperation methods through international organizations.

 

 

Kaspersky also participated in AI-related events linked to the WSIS Forum. The company discussed AI policy and international cooperation methods with government officials from various countries at the UN Global AI Governance Dialogue, presented research results on AI ethics applications in the African region at the ITU Kaleidoscope academic conference, and presented the position that cross-border incident response cooperation is necessary to secure trust in the Agentic AI environment at the AI for Good Global Summit.

 

Vice President Shlikhachova stated, "In an environment where AI agents interact with various systems, international incident response frameworks and cooperation serve as the foundation for building trust." Kaspersky conveyed its plan to continue sharing cyber threat response research and expertise through participation in international forums.
