The Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) is holding a public participation-based congratulatory video contest to mark its 50th anniversary and is now recruiting submissions. Anyone can participate without format restrictions, and the winning works will be unveiled at the 50th anniversary main event in November this year.

 

KERI announced on the 18th that it is holding a '50th Anniversary Congratulatory Video Contest' and will accept submissions until September 20. The contest theme is congratulating KERI's 50th anniversary, and submissions must be under 50 seconds in length. There are no restrictions on expression methods, ranging from simple message delivery to songs, rap, dance, drawing, and animation, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the video production process is also permitted.

 

 

Judging and results announcement will take place in October. Awards will be given to a total of 50 individuals, including one grand prize winner (valued at 1 million won), and recipients will receive gift certificates and gifticons as prizes. The selected winning works will be re-edited by KERI and screened at the 50th anniversary main event in November.

Kim Nam-gyun, president of KERI, said, "We organized the video contest to widely publicize the institute's 50th anniversary and celebrate it together with the public," adding, "We hope that this contest will serve as an opportunity for many people to become better acquainted with KERI."
