'DEEPX Greengrass Solution' Registered on AWS Marketplace

AI semiconductor company DeepX has established a physical AI deployment environment linked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as it moves to capture the global market. The plan is to provide an operating system that enables remote deployment and management of AI models developed in the cloud to field equipment.

DeepX announced on the 1st that it has established a physical AI deployment environment linking its neural processing unit (NPU) with AWS cloud and IoT infrastructure.

AWS recently introduced through its official technical blog the AI model deployment and operation method combining DeepX's DX-M1 NPU with AWS IoT Core and AWS IoT Greengrass.

By utilizing 'DEEPX Greengrass Solution' currently provided on AWS Marketplace, ONNX-based AI models can be converted to DXNN, DeepX NPU execution format, and drivers, firmware, and runtime environments can be remotely deployed to edge devices.

DeepX explained that it can establish identical AI execution environments and update software across multiple edge devices installed in factories, logistics centers, stores, robots, and industrial equipment without requiring on-site visits.

The company stated that through this approach, it has implemented a structure where AI models are developed and managed in the cloud and low-power NPU performs real-time inference on field equipment.

DeepX plans to develop this structure into a 'center-edge collaborative AI' concept to establish an integrated environment for AI development, deployment, and operation.

Kim Nok-won, CEO of DeepX, attended the 'AWS Startup Partner Summit 2026' held in San Francisco, California to expand global partnerships.

The company is reviewing ways to expand application scope to U.S. robotics, industrial vision, and smart factory projects based on technical linkage with AWS.

The company also announced plans to apply the cloud-edge deployment system to its next-generation generative AI semiconductor product line, DX-M2.
